I want to kindly write this and give you an update on the funds we collected towards the Chennai Flood relief. As you know, after we learnt about the most devastating sufferings by people in our motherland especially Chennai and other northern districts of Tamilnadu during December 1st week flooding, SHTCG coordinators decided to collect funds from our families and friends contributing towards the relief. We appealed through emails, word-of-mouth and collected during December Tamil Mass. We collected a total of $1800.00. We distributed these funds through 3 different Chennai and Cuddalore local organizations (which we happen to know through our family members and friends)
